Flooded School
It doesn't take long for water flooding to create a secondary problem...mold. Note the mold colonies developing on the walls caused by the elevated humidity from the standing water. To make matters worse, the water contains bacteria and that presents an other challenge. The bacteria amplifies (grows) so the bacterium becomes airborne. It may even "mix" with the mold spores. It's important to extract and cleanup water quickly to prevent mold growth. In this situation the remediation process included: removing the water, removing the mold and placing the inside air under "negative pressure" by using containment and powerful HEPA air filters. This will "force clean" the interior environment.
