Real wood floor restoration
Real hardwood flooring is expensive, certainly more costly than manufactured flooring. An advantage of real hardwood flooring is its ability to be salvaged and restored during a flooding event. The wood will swell as it adsorbs water and will usually warp. However, with proper drying techniques the floor will dry down and he warping will go away, or be minimized. Sometimes, all that is required to completed the restoration process is a surface sanding and an application of floor finish (a stain/colored polish coat.)
