Unattended frying pan...

Kitchen fires can happen quickly. Leaving a frying pan unattended for two minutes is all it takes. That's all it took at this home, hot grease splatters and flames caught papers and packages on fire, which in turn burned the wooden cabinets above. Smoke filled the house. The fire was put out quickly, but the damage was done. SERVPRO was able to remove the smoke odor from the home and we set about removing the damaged building materials from the kitchen.
