Commercial Water Damage – Oakland Offices

Commercial water damage struck this Oakland office space when the roof was breached during a strong band of thunderstorms. The rainwater left extensive areas water damaged. The carpeting was soaked, and ceiling tiles had absorbed a lot of water, and some had fallen. There was considerable debris from the ceiling tiles to be cleaned up once tarps had been placed on the damaged roof. SERVPRO of San Leandro would extract the water from the carpeting and tear out all of the damaged, wet material. We would place industrial air movers and dehumidifiers throughout the area to aid in the drying process. The moisture content of the air and building materials would be monitored closely. When all the affected area had been dried, we would replace the ceiling tiles and do reconstruction.
