Rain Storm Damage – San Leandro Home

Storm damage to this San Leandro home occurred during a severe storm that tore a hole in the flat roof allowing gallons of water to enter the interior of the house. We first placed a tarp on the damaged portion of the roof for protection and contacted a roofing contractor to repair the roof. Next, we began the water damage clean up which was substantial in spite of the fact that the storm had not lasted all that long. We had debris from the collapsed ceiling and roof to clean up and discard properly. We extracted all of the water from the dwelling and then began the drying process. We employed industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process.
